Five stages of grief
Stage 1: Denial
me: nope, that has not happened. they will come back and rory will tease the doctor for worrying and amy will roll his eyes at the doctors worrying and she will give him a hug and tell him that she wont leave him. and then they will sail off in the tardis happily ever after.
Stage 2: Anger
me: why the fuck would Moffat do this??? He allowed Martha to walk away, Rose got her doctor and lived happily ever after with him, Donna forgot everything but NONE OF THEM DIED! HOW FUCKING DARE MOFFAT KILL OFF THE PONDS?? BOTH OF THEM, HOW DARE HE LEAVE THE DOCTOR HEARTBROKEN AND ALL ALONE? screw you moffat.
Stage 3: Bargaining
me: maybe river will use her vortex manipulator thing to go back and save both Ponds after she sees how heartbroken the doctor is. he lost his Ponds. she has to go save them, she got into manhattan with it once, she can do it again. PLUS they are her parents so she has to do it. and the doctor and amy will be re-united again
Stage 4: Depression
